Eaton School Holds Annual Remembrance Day Ceremony

Eaton School held its annual Remembrance Day ceremony on November 12th, 2019.  The ceremony was held in the school gym and was well attended by both the staff and students of Eaton School, as well as several members of the community.

The ceremony consisted of several poems read by Eaton School students, a selection of music from the Eaton School concert band, and the laying of wreaths which had been donated by many service groups.  The service was concluded by a rendition of last post by Emma McLay, a two-minute silence, and Rouse, performed by Ms. Whitell.

The ceremony was well received by all of the attendees, and Eaton School is proud to be able to offer this token of our appreciation for the veterans who have served our country.
